The free-form swimming pool, nestled in the jungle, was a dream to relax in.Every morning, I woke up to the sounds of nature and enjoyed a refreshing jog. The location's proximity to the national park was a huge bonus, as we could easily explore the natural beauty of the area.Now, let's talk about the food – it was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The variety of dishes catered to everyone's taste, and the breakfast spread was more than sufficient to kick-start our day.The staff at Rock and Treehouse Resort were exceptionally attentive and caring, making us feel right at home. Whether you're a family looking for a peaceful getaway or any type of traveler seeking relaxation, this place is perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a truly memorable and rejuvenating experience.

A bit off the beaten path which is great for a quiet (excepting the usual jungle noises of course) night! Loads of nature everywhere too. Rooms and walkways are a little run down but not to the point of being bothered by it.

For our family of 4 we had a great house for 6 persons and 2 bathrooms. Bathrooms had a unique view! It’s very special place to stay if you like nature. Veeeeery beautiful hotel, clean big rooms - we stayed at the ground floor, nice breakfast nothing special, a few minutes walk from Khao Sok village and from the "monkeys temple". Very nice service.

Spectacular resort in the middle of the jungle.The monkeys are nice and waiting for you at the arrival, but they get quite nasty if you have some food with you. they also 'visit' the bungalows frequently and know how to open the doors. so don't... read more forget to lock them.Rooms are ok for one or two nights with AC and some of the also with a nice jungle view from the bathroom.Dinner/Lunch was also very tasty and enough for everyone.Would recommend this place for 1-2 nights.

The hotel is unique and beautiful — it truly feels like a movie set. It’s a shame we booked far in advance through Booking.com and weren’t informed beforehand about the renovation work being done in the hotel lobby.

We did the half-day jungle trek and it was one of the best experiences we had on our 3-week long vacation. If you like nature and/or animals, I highly recommend this tour. It was INCREDIBLE. The rooms were massive. Nice wooden floors. Walls of the bedroom were all giant picture windows which was beautiful. The outdoor balcony is huge. The bathroom was huge. Good toilets and good water temp. Monkeys frequented the area which was cool to see. Rooms contain mini fridge and lockbox. Food at the resort hotel was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was a bit simple but it did the trick. This resort is a 5 min drive from Khao Sok National Park which is so convenient! Also within a couple minutes of a tiny town with a couple restaurants & cafes. We did not use the pool although they do have a small one.My complaints are few and minor: The water pressure in the shower sometimes gave out momentarily, but that's understandable seeing as you're staying in the jungle. AC took a while to get going and cool the room down, but if you take the physical key they give you and leave the key card in the room to run electricity (and AC), it gets better. I think my biggest issue was that the curtains on the bedroom windows didn't shut all the way. At least one window most certainly will be facing another bungalow or the restaurant. Especially at night when it's dark outside and you turn the lights on inside, you can see everything... I wish the curtains overlapped instead of leaving a gap between them.Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we would for sure stay here again. I recommend it. I rate it 4.5/5 stars, rounded up to 5!

Beautiful location! Room is very nice and clean, their doing maintenance at the pool at the moment which is a shame, bet it looks amazing at night! We really like the hotel! 10/10 would recommend

When we stayed here, we were the only ones in the resort. At first it was a bit strange but it was so quite and relaxing. There are still some constructions going on in the resort. The resort was a 10 minutes walk to the... read more village. The reception was very helpful and kind. At our last day there were some more people arriving and with that the monkeys came too. You get the real sense of being in the jungle.
